2002 Year Round Event

WILLKOMMEN

A "SPECIAL INVITATION" to the Hermann Missouri Year-Round Volksmarch.  Individuals and groups can take the AMTRAK to Hermann. The train schedule permits arrival in the morning and departure later in the day with sufficient time to complete the volksmarch and enjoy a visit to this friendly community.  The train stops within five blocks of the Start Point at The Hermann Werks. The city of Hermann, the Hermann Volkssport Association (Hilltop Hikers), and the Hermann Tourism Group, invite you to the 2002 Year Round International Volksmarch, begining 1 March 2002 through 31 December 2002.

Anytime is a wonderful time to stroll thru Hermann and enjoy the scenic beauty and landmarks of  the city (BRING YOUR CAMERA), as well as the opportunity to sample the award winning wines of Missouri. 

Come to Hermann.  Visit with our townsfolk, other walkers, and visitors, enjoy the old traditions of  fellowship and fun.  You'll feel the love for what was practical, embellished by what is beautiful, in the "gingerbread" entrances and trim adorning many homes. There are over 109 structures in this "Rhine Country" community, which are on the National Register of Historic Sites.
